Furniture placement inside a glazed room determines whether the space feels like a garden extension or an unused passage. Our furniture-in-glass sheets mark each piece on plan with clearance circles for door swings, plant pots, and radiator covers.

Placement Rules

• Keep seating 600 mm minimum from south-facing glass unless external shading is specified
• Place high-backed chairs away from west elevation to avoid afternoon glare across Devon lawns
• Allow 900 mm circulation path from house door to garden exit
• Mark fixed bench seating on stone dwarf walls where Heavitree plinth height allows

Material Notes

Wicker and untreated timber degrade quickly in Exeter's humid conservatory conditions. We specify powder-coated metal, teak with annual oiling, or stone-topped tables that tolerate temperature swings between winter night and summer afternoon.

Furniture layout is included in mid-range and full styling packages (£1,400–£4,200). It can be added to a basic layout package for a supplementary consultation fee.
